My goal in writing this blog is two fold: to give myself space for unstructured writing as I complete my dissertation and to catalog/document the lessons I’ve learned along the way – maybe they’ll help someone.
I am currently the Director of the Office of Academic Opportunity Programs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. I am also a PhD student in Public Policy in the Evaluation and Analytical Methods Track.
Over the last 20 or so years, I’ve actively participated in professional of the federal TRIO programs staff. I can speak to what you should and should not do while balancing work, graduate school and life.
My goal is to write at least once a week, likely on Sunday, about whatever is on my mind that week.
